The clothes...!

"Hey! are you busy? I need to talk about something."
"Well, I'm preparing for a meeting, but anyways go on."
"Have you ever wondered how come some chores are so boring and insignificant you wish you could skip them completely?"
"Yeah! like what?"
"Like separating fenugreek leaves, placing groceries in respective shelves/containers and worst of all the whole clothes arrangement."
"Clothes? Really? I thought you love clothes."
"I love buying them. Let me explain. Every day, I decide what to wear, wear them, collect all dirty clothes, dump those in the machine, schedule a wash cycle, pull them out once washed, dry them, pick them up once dried, fold them, segregate, put them back in the closet and then next day repeat the same cycle."
"Okay, it does not consume a lot of time, does it?"
"No! it does not, but it does consume a lot of my brain."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, you have no idea how meticulously I carry out the whole process. You just have no idea."
"Okay, I agree. So what's the point?"
"Point is, does it worth it? All the time and brain I'm putting, just for clean clothes?"
"I think my answer should be YES?"
"Of course, but I don't want to. I can do much more. I can do better if I don't have to worry about the clothes every day. I know what I'm capable of."
"So don't."
"How could I not? How could I stop? How could I not care? How could you say that?"
"What do you want then?"
"I want someone else to take care of this, like a real responsibility. I want my family to have clean dried clothes every day."
"So, ask Asha amma to do this, no?"
"No, her timings are no good. And you know she is old. We should not burden her with more laborious tasks. You should have considered her age. So inconsiderate of you."
"My God, tell me what you want me to say I will say it."
"I don't want you to say anything. I want you to do something."
"Great, tell me I will do but don't play word games with me."
"You promise?"
"I promise, just tell me! I have a meeting in 5 minutes."
"I want you to collect all dirty clothes, dump those clothes in the machine, schedule a wash cycle, pull them out once washed, dry them, pick them up once dried, fold them, segregate, put them back in the closet and then next day repeat the same cycle"
"I should have seen it coming when you initiated this conversation."
